Summer of Love

I'm in love with the palm/ hawaiian prints of the Prada Collection Spring/Summer 2010. I would love to put on those fluffer summery hotpants, shirts and dresses, beeing on holiday with friends, barefeet, drinking Afri Cola. But well, I can't. And so I odered some palm print clothes at Topshop; a playsuit and a crop tee. I'm waiting for them since the year dot, but they just don't arrive.

But until the moment that I can unpack the Topshop package I'll be listening to some cool songs of the B52's:

My Travel Outfit

This is my new suitcase, wich I found on the bulk garbage last month. The class trip was a nice possibility to take it out, although it isn't very handy. Anyway, the suitcase is pretty and I love it.

Goodbye my friends

The next week I am going to be on a class trip to Nordhausen.

The thing is that only half of the class goes to Nordhausen,a small dark town in the north of Thoringia, while the rest of us spends the week in France, because there are less french exchange students than german. Our teaches drew lots and so this came to be. Yippie -.-

Vintage Photos

Hey everyone out there!

Yesterday my dad compturised a lot of very old photos from my mum, mainly from the 1970s and 1980s. I viewed them and found some very pretty. So here they are:

That was at the end of 8th grade, my mum told me. The pupils dressed up like their grandparents. I like the pictures and the very vintage clothes.

Those pictures are painted by Neo Rauch. I like his paintings a lot because there are so many ways to interpret what he means and the compositions and differences he uses are fantastic. The pictures are worth to take a look at them.

I just can't find my beautiful favourite hat. Perhaps I have forgotten it in on vacation in Turkey last month. Man, how can someone be such a stupid idiot?!

I just spotted the collection. And I don't know what to say. The clothes and hairstyles and make-up and shoes and models... everything is so perfect. I haven't heard of Manish Arora before and I'm overwhelmed.

Look what my mum just bought: a mille fleurs overall. Well, it was better if the flowers had different colours, but I like it.

Just Gorgeous

This is the Fall 2010 Collection of my by far favourite designer Vivienne Westwood, who also designed the shoes below. I'm absolutely into everything this 69-years-old does. Every peace is so indescribable fantastic and sensationell. I've been so glad to see the whole show when I enabled the tv. Great Work.

Here the new collection of american fashion designer Jeremy Scott. Eventhough I wouldn't wear most of the clothes (those overknee boots for example), I like them and how they remind me of those amazing eighties. All in all I really enjoyed the runway show I watched on FashionTV today.

Discovery of the week

This beautiful girl is model. STING'S DAUGHTER. And a fantastic singer. Listen to the song, it's really cool, but it's a shame that there's not a video. But we counsider ourselves satisfied with those pretty pictures .

The damned door

This is a door I painted à la Julie Verhoeven. The thing is that I measured it and it fit, but when I had applied it into the door frame I assessed that the lock doesn't fit. So that's the sad story of the white door I found in the basement. And now it stands midway through my room and I don't know what to o with it. Does anyone need a door?
